Assistant Headteacher
- Required from April 2025
- Full time and permanent
- Salary L5- L9 (£54,939 - £60,644)
The Governors wish to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who is committed to excellence and passionate about the role of senior leader. The successful candidate will lead and manage a dedicated team together with the Headteacher and will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice. The post will be initially in Key Stage 2 and there will be a specific responsibility for curriculum development.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
- is keen to develop leadership responsibilities
- is an inspirational classroom practitioner
- has a good understanding of what is required to support the most vulnerable children in our school
- is committed to raising standards for all, across the curriculum
- can lead on CPD and evidence informed practice
- is committed to continuous school improvement including teacher workload and wellbeing
- has high expectations of themselves and the children
